About us

St Francis of Assisi Church, Waterkloof, is a community of people who are committed to living and proclaiming the Kingdom of God in South Africa and the world. 

We strive to be obedient to the “Great Commission” of Jesus: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

As a Christian community we are committed to God through faith in Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit, and to one another in love. We value our membership of the world-wide Anglican Communion and the Diocese of Pretoria in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (previously the Church of the Province of Southern Africa).
